Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These are the standards most widely used for accessible websites in the UK.
What we have done
You should be able to:
- zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
- move around the site using only a keyboard, with a clear focus outline
- use the site with a screen reader
- read text that has strong colour contrast against its background
- pause the moving background on our homepage using the Pause motion button
- turn off animation by switching on reduced motion in your device settings
- use the site on a phone, tablet or computer
Our forms have clear labels, required fields are marked, and error messages explain what to do next.
Known limitations
We know some parts of the site may not be fully accessible yet:
- Some downloadable PDF documents may not work fully with all screen readers. Every PDF has the same content on a web page, which you can use instead.
- Some decorative images do not have text descriptions. This is deliberate, because they do not add information.
Other formats
If you need information from this website in another format, such as large print, easy read or a different language, email office@globalmckarm.co.uk. We will do our best to help.
We follow the Accessible Information Standard for people who use our care and support services.
Reporting a problem
If you find a problem that is not listed here, or think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please email office@globalmckarm.co.uk. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
